Brew City Beats Amarillo in World Series Saturday, October 12th , 2075 It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious Brew City Bears, that meant the Minor League PBE World Series trophy. The Bears took a 2-0 victory over the Amarillo Armadillos at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House, winning their 5th championship after taking the series 4-3. "We've got grit," said Bears right fielder Jared Keeso, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to."
