Great Day for Martin -- 5 Hits Monday, September 14th , 2076 Ben Martin was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo, the Amarillo left fielder blistered the Anchorage Wheelers for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a good 16-6 victory. "Martin was too tough to get out," Wheelers skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Ben Martin hit a two-run single in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Dahmir Lucas in the 7th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
