Phoenix Goes 5-for-5 Against Chicago
Wednesday, July 21st , 2077
5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Florida's Miles Phoenix made it happen against the Kingpins. Everything came together at the plate for the 21-year-old second baseman as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and helped the Flamingos triumph, 8-1, at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium.
"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Phoenix said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."
Miles Phoenix singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Remmy Rattlesnake in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
To date this season, Phoenix is hitting .271 with 4 home runs.
