Burgous Whips Puerto Rico, 7-0 Sunday, August 29th , 2077 Felix Burgous kept the Puerto Rico Ranas hitters from doing much damage at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. Puerto Rico could only muster 5 hits and draw 1 walk against the left-handed Burgous, who controlled them throughout the game. Chicago won the contest, 7-0. Burgous added 6 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Burgous told reporters after the shutout win.
