Zickafoose Shackles Florida Thursday, September 2nd , 2077 The Florida Flamingos were almost helpless in their 5-0 loss to the Brew City Bears and hurler Xavier Zickafoose. Zickafoose kept the Flamingos confused all game, spinning a 4-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Zickafoose," Florida manager said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 22-year-old left-hander had 1 walk and 8 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Zickafoose said.
