Wheelers Prevail, as First Round Goes to the Wire Thursday, September 23rd , 2077 With a narrow 3-2 series win, the Anchorage Wheelers have eliminated the Louisville Lemurs and are First Round winners. "We tried not to look ahead to the Semi-FInals, but we thought we'd be there for sure," said second baseman Robin Banks, who was named series MVP. Anchorage won the final game by a score of 11-8, wrapping it up at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle. Banks's big series saw him hit .476 with a .500 on-base percentage.
