Femhausen Batters Puerto Rico Big Time Tuesday, August 29th , 2079 After a 5-hit effort to lead Chicago's 10-6 victory over the Puerto Rico Ranas, third baseman Oboe Femhausen told BNN beat writers it had been "a special day." "It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college, two hits in a game is nice," he said. "Three or four is better, but five or more is out of sight. And to do that at the Minor League PBE-level is really something special." The 23-year-old player earned his accolades at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium with a spectacular 5-for-5 game against the Ranas. "His swing is getting there," said Kingpins skipper , who spoke glowingly of Femhausen after the game. "We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Oboe did that to perfection." Oboe Femhausen singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Muffin Heeler in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off Jerry Berry [BOT] in the 8th.
