Hits Galore: Cru Drills 5 Hits Wednesday, May 14th , 2081 Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Bobby Cru of the Kansas City Hepcats had one of those moments when he went 5-for-5 at the plate in his team's 7-6 win over the Florida Flamingos at Center for Kansas City Kids That Can't Read Good. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 24-year-old left fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Bobby Cru singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Seamus O'Rourke in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. This year, Cru has collected a .291 batting average to date with 23 hits in 79 at-bats, 10 RBIs, 1 home run and scored 10 times. He has played in 19 games.
