The Vancouver Vandals wasted an inspired, 6-inning effort from starter Holly Sheet, falling 2-1 to the Indianapolis Apex at The Scudder Forty-Three Stadium. Calm Chicken closed it out for his 7th save. At 50-38, the Apex are currently first in the Champions Conference East.

Indianapolis relied on the hitting of Sean Carrcrash to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Apex on top, 2-0. For the game, Carrcrash had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

"It was a good effort all around," said Carrcrash.
