Wheelers Earn Win with Late Rally

The Brew City Bears could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Count Crabula into a win. Instead, the Anchorage Wheelers prevailed, 2-1. Crabula threw 9.0 innings of 6-hit ball. Anchorage pitcher Roomba Macintosh got the win. He's now 3-2. Count Crabula was tagged with the loss. Anchorage has now won 3 in a row.
Robert Oliver chipped in for Anchorage, stroking a crucial run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning. For the game, the second baseman was 2-3 with 2 singles.
