Indianapolis Apex starter Calvin Ball hurled his team past the Nashville Stars, 3-2. Indianapolis reliever Calm Chicken was the winner. His record is now 7-1. Siegmeyer of Catarina took the loss. With the victory, the Apex upped their record to 56-50.

Brian Payne was the walk-off hero for Indianapolis. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Apex designated hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"It feels good to get this one," Ball told the Indianapolis Chronicle.
